Peter Druckemiller
Peter "Truckenmiller" Druckemiller was born in Germany,"circa 1722". He arrived to the United States on Sept. 7,1753, aboard "The Beulah" form Wurttemberg by way of Rotterdam.
A Palatine unable to write. He may have been related to the Johann Martin Truckenmiller, who arrived twenty days later from Adelmansfield in Wurttemberg.
Later he married Anna Mary Gret and had two children "Johann Frederick and Elizabeth.
Peter was a resident, not a landowner, of Heidelberg Twp., Lancaster County,Pa.(now Lebanon). Taxed for first time in 1771 and again in 1781 in Penn Twp., Northumberland Co. He owned the land on which the present town of Kantz is located.
During the Revolution, Peter returned to Lancaster County to escape the Indian raids in northern Pennsylvania.
Peter and his wife Anna Mary were communicants of the Lutheran Church at Schaeferstown,Pa. (Lebanon Co.) in 1771. Probably members of the Rau Lutheran Church at Salem.
Peter died in 1790 in Penn Township, Northumberland Co.,Pa. Will recorded August 26,1790 at Sunbury, Pa. Probably buried in the cemetery of the old Rau Lutheran Church at Salem, two miles west of Selinsgrove, Pa.
