Happy Birthday Fox! In a bizarre bit of --not serendipity--well, maybe--not
irony--just the weirdness that is my life, I was working yesterday and
when I'm in my classroom on Sundays I use Pandora radio and listen to country
music. I dunno why, just do. At any rate, I was reminiscing about the good
ol' XF times while doing payroll and listening to the likes of Garth Brooks
and Dwight Yoakam when the song "Me Too" came on--y'know, I don't think
I even listened to the song when I first found it, just read the lyrics.
Well, at any rate, Mick and I wrote stories together to the tune of that
song some years ago. XF stories, obviously. He's been offline when I'm
on and vice versa for a bit now, and anyway, to make a long story even
longer *L* I had a complete mental breakdown.
And then came home and baked a cake *L*
Jason's play was great fun--like a long episode of Corner Gas, only
1988, so my time. And he was good and pro, as usual.
And whoo, hoo! This weekend coming up: COUGARS WILL BE IN DA HOUSE!
Kids show, brunch and housework, not necessarily in that order, await. Ciao for now.
