All right, what will I want to look back on in 20 years and know?
The bunny's holding his own, and that's good enough for me. Coffee someday.
Indiana Jones was awesome! I won't wax poetic about Harrison Ford's ass, like I did when Raiders came out (don't believe me, ask to see the diary *LOL) But it was terrific. I enjoyed the dialogue, and it was great to see Marion again. Even Shie laBoeuf--I dunno how you spell that bastard's name *L*--was cute. Loved all the injokes. We sat too far away, though. I'm a front row kinda gal. I may have to go see it again.
Work is nuts. Whit has her own class on Monday. Mine's the following Monday. Everyone's going to Jonesboro except me and Adam *L* Jeff is the new TQM. Mike and Cass didn't certify completely, which freaks me, cos I expected them both to be good. But I recognize la issues, I think. And it could still work out well. Rick's doing good, but a little too sympathetic for some of the students--screw 'em if they don't like their shift. There's a McJob out there with their name on it *L*
My back is killing me. I left bartending early Friday cos it hurt so bad, and then when I got home I tripped on a blanked (of all things) and I think I've broken my toe. It's all swollen and bruised at any rate.
Kim and I had the most awesome float in the pride parade. Kim's gleaming yellow car with "smile if you love gay people" on one side and "faghags need love too" on the other. Yay us!! They were a little disorganized as usual, but again, my heart swells with love for my community, and what can be accomplished when people set aside their bullshit agendas for five minutes and come together to affect change. Also, new NDP minister is hot *L*
Picnic in the park tomorrow (aka Gay Day in the Park) and I got lots of fresh air today so I'm beat. Going to bed now and will be up early to slice onions, cut watermelon, pack up burgers n stuff and go from there.
Happy Pride 2008, everyone!
