Oi. What a week. I am done nights I am done nights I am done nights!
No more nights for me hooray! My class (all six of 'em *L*) turned out
pretty good and they bought cards for Cassandra and I so that was nice.
I think they'll do fine on the floor. New class Monday 8-4:30. Maybe my
TQM will start talking to me again *L* I tell ya, it's not the same ol'
Star Tek that it used to be, that's for sure. At any rate, I'm looking
forward to Monday. Been five weeks since I "looked forward" to work.
England is still terrifying me and now I hear there's issues with the
trains--construction and stuff. I'm freaking out about the money of course,
but man, if I don't do it now, when will I ever get there? I just have
to have faith that everything will work out exactly like it should.
Hey, Louise, did you get my IM? I'm not dead, but it's been a very
stressful few weeks, and I've been a bad emailer. I promise a chatty note
soon. Also, Brent, are you here yet? And Neal, I miss you--you coming out
here any time this summer?
I don't know how to talk about Jaxon. I don't actually know what happened,
and I don't dare press Mick for details. I don't doubt this is killing
him, and I don't mean figuratively. I just hope that Jaxon is in a good
place--he has to be, cos for all his faults and foibles, he was the sweetest
bear--and that Mick knows he's got us all here for anything he needs. I've
spent so much time worrying about his health that this blow came right
out of left field. I knew there were some health issues, and I knew that
he was older than us, but still...like I say, no real words yet. I wish
I had a picture of him. I miss you, Br'er Bear.
If you haven't seen Over The Hedge, and really who hasn't? But if you
haven't, go, watch it now. I love it. It's really super, there, you know,
really super duper. *L*
So, brunch at Aspens, and I need to do laundry today. Also, am going
to make apple pudding.
And hey, like you didn't know, but just 11 days til XFII AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!
tee hee
