Last week in Jonesboro, although the rumour mill is thick with hints that I may be back.
I have no idea how I'll get all this stuff sorted before Friday.
Went to Graceland twice, Sun Records, Stax Records, Hard Rock and Beale St. and wound up detouring to Mississipi. So I've done four states in two days cos of course I started in AR, went to TN (memphis), slipped in and out of Mississippi so fast if you blinked you missed it. And then to top it all off, since this is a dry county, I went with Michelle from work to Mr. T's which is a booze/cigs/lottery store across the border in Missouri! Wacky states, Im tellin' ya.
I'd love to write all my thoughts on this trip but the truth of the
matter is I have a shitload of work to do if this week is going to be manageable,
so I'd best get to it. But I can say it's been a nice trip, and I haven't
been completely homesick, just missing gay world and my friends, but I
would never live in the USA.
Never.
