C is for Crown
The new big shiny one that my Emperor bought for me! It's amazing,
and I really felt like an Empress when I walked (okay drunk, but whatever)
into that Ballroom on Saturday night. Now I know that what I think I'm
doing on stage is not really what I'm doing up there, cos you know, no
arms, no legs, lots of girth. But I felt good, for the first time in ages.
Like I wanted to be there (again, yes, drunk, but not that drunk) I was
in the same league as the big girls. Plus, let's face it, I loved just
standing there listening to the XF theme being blared out of that sound
system. So, crowns all round, but lets face it, my Emperor got me the prettiest
one! Seriously, Kerry was fucking amazing this weekend, and just like our
year (and the one after that), I could not have got through this without
him. Clint is one lucky man!! And speaking of, Clint (which also starts
with C *L*) came for our decade walks--he's just out of back surgery and
couldn't stay for the whole event, so wasn't going to come. For him to
be there when Kerry did his decade walk was so fantastic. All the crowns
there this year were fun (if big and pushy) very little drama thank God,
although Winnipeg, all of you, I'm here if you need me. The rest was just
a blur of no sleep, many shooters, blonde wigs (I clean up good, as they
say *L*) fun and all that good stuff. Sincerely. Funnest coronation in
long time! Oh, and congrats to Kim Possible, she of the candy floss hair,
and Boris Tateerz, who ought to change his name to Ron Stoppable *L* I
hope you can find a place to be comfortable with all this Curt. I still
love you, and wish you'd been in a dress last night ;) Last thought, though
a good time was had by all, there were still those empty chairs in the
back of the room; thank you Godiva, for the fanfic talk. Helped in a way
no amount of Southern could have. Maybe they'll be there for my double
decade. Heh heh...well! it could happen!
I need a state cape!
