My friends are Amazing--they continue to fight the good fight, work hard, love hard, do things for me, for themselves, for each other, no matter who's mad at who, or who's dating who, or even who wants to date who. I could sit and watch them all day *L* I miss my friends when they're not around, though sometimes I need to be by myself. Luckily I can trust good friends not to fuck off the minute my back is turned. I love having company, tho sometimes I'm too lazy to go out. I wish that all my good friends could have coffee in my living room. I don't understand people who say they are your friends, but won't find or make time for you. Inconceivable, as a wise Sicilian once said. If someone is your friend, you always do your best by them. Why? Cos they'd do the same for you. When someone is your friend, they're not boring, trite, whiney or stupid. They are your friends, and you gotta love 'em. Doesn't mean you don't call 'em on their shit. Believe it, another important part of friendship is being able to cut thru the bullshit. On the other hand, sometimes you have friends that are so Amazing that you can even put up with a modicum of bullshit, just cos watching them dance is brilliant. Friends like that are few and far between, but when you get 'em, hold on tight. Those are the best friends.
