My world, welcome to it!

LIFE'S TOO SHORT. You could go out tomorrow and get hit by a bus, for God's sake!. And would you want your last thought to be an angry one? Your last impression to be a malicious one? Love each other. Love yourselves. Today is a gift; that's why they call it the present.

So many people to thank, so many people to congratulate, so many people to mock. And not necessarily in that order. Of course, my mother did say, if you can't say anything nice, come sit next to me...or was it don't put it in your mouth if you don't know where it's been? Whatever....But relax--if you don't see your name here, it doesn't mean I don't love you...oh, wait, yeah it does.

CHANTALLE/ALEX FORDAZE: You are one of a kind!  Your energy is ridiculous and  you know what you want and have the  drive to get it!  You  did a great job learning as you went along and not letting  people get in the way of your goals. Don't ever lose that. Also, now you won't be using those big Puss N Boots sad eyes on me for protocol anymore *L*

FEATHER: You are f**king brilliant--thank you for smashing stereotypes, kicking ass with your talent and energy and doing it all with a smile! You are humble to a fault, and so talented!  Thank you for everything you did for our community this year!

 mr.miss.26

BERNIE/ANITA: 26 years later....so , really, what I'm saying is, this is all your fault.....thank you.

CAESAR: Thank you for all your hard work.  When everyone around you is flailing around in gallons of drama, you just cut through the crap and get the job done, and that's an amazing gift!

DEREK AKA JENNY TALIA: I know you miss Carmichael but you made my whole night. You are a constant source of inspiration for our community, and I hope you know you are cherished.

HARVEY STEELE AND KENYA DEWITT: Thank you for joining us this weekend--you are just way too adorable!

JEFFERSON: Wow. Just  wow.  ::head  shake::

JOYCE: You are awesome, and I'm not just saying that 'cos of the scones!!

LEXY: Welcome home!

NIKKI & KAT: Hope to see you at more brunches now! We need to hang out more!

ROB:  The  consumate host.  And no matter what's going on,  you always  have a  smile for folks and a way of putting them at ease.  ps, I hear you and I need to have a Legends of Tomorrow marathon!

YADA/GERRARD:  So we'll have to have a  "music for shows" workshop I think.  Thanks for your patience.

JASON&WHITNEY: Just  15 more years and  drag shows will be a family event!  In the meantime, we've got brunches, rides to work,  and suppers to enjoy  while we adore and mock your kid in equal measure!

JOELLE: Now that you've gotten your feet wet,  you'll have to come for one of our big shows sometime!

MITCHELL: My friend;  my very special friend.  Thank you for your continued awesomeness.  Here's to many  more BBQs, card nights,  coronations and  super hero movies together!  ps, your timing and shooters were perfect tonight!

JAXXX OFF: Your enthusiasm is undeniable!

JUSTIN CIDER: I can’t choose what’s sexier, your eyes or those darned flashy runners!

MAXXX POWER: You came out and did the work before you hit the stage and that’s so appreciated!

KITTY BOO: Great dresses; I look forward to getting to know you better.

LA LA BOTTOME: You have an eye for beauty and are so at home on stage!

MISTRESS MOLLY CYRUS: It’s wonderful to have trans folk participating in our community and I hope it continues!

GIRTH BROOKS/BRETT: I know it’s hard, but ask for help, ask the questions, don’t take it all personally and my god don’t ever stop creating things! Whether at home, in a parade, at our club or anywhere you have a phenomenal gift and it’s inspiring.

DEMONA LISA: My awesome travel buddy, listener, call center queen and dutchie, naturally—you are a true friend and I wish for you and Andrew every happiness you can imagine – and your show was the best ;) #Demona2018

MAYA FANTASEE: Please catfight with Adora ALL the time---that shit will never get old!

A'DAM GOODTIME/NATHAN: Just be happy, please. And know that no matter how many times I call you Duke, I know you are really a true Prince! And a clown. A scary clown….

HELLACIOUS ACRES: Our often directionally challenged (weren’t we just in South Dakota), sometimes missing Empress and a wonderful friend. Think good thoughts and perform noble deeds with a smile and no one can fault you. I know it’s hard but you can do it, Trophy Wife!

KERRY: There’s loads of things going on with you right now that I know you are struggling with. Let me know if I can ever help! I also know you are brilliant and kind and fun and also stubborn, and everything’s going to turn out just as you need it to! Hellacious is lucky I agreed to share you!

GLCR: Well, it’s hard to say what’s going to happen. The twinks have all abandoned us for Rouge, and they won’t come back til it’s closed. Shut up, I’ve been there, I know what I’m talking about. On the other hand, some of us old folks still want to keep the place open, and some of the young crazy kids do too. I can only hope that the need for community that fostered the inception of this wonderful organization will continue to motivate LGBTQ* people to keep us going for another 45 years.  ps  Remember how last year I mentioned that one stunned cunt that was messing it up for everyone else?  Turns out I was  sort of wrong--he's an even bigger twat-waffle than I expected.  This treatment of people will not  be forgotten.

KOS: I love bragging about our Kings in other cities; you are all talented, clever and all so damned young! Please don’t let anyone take your positive energy away—you are all wonderful!

QUEEN CITY PRIDE: I love you and hate you by turn. Jesse Ireland, you are Pride and I can’t imagine any of the success of this organization without you! Please be kind to your elders, support the people who don’t have any money and never give up—we’re a lucky bunch in the Queen City but the struggle is still happening.

RSAR- such a vital part of Regina's GLBT community. Without you, this community would have closed up shop back in ‘94, and now here we are, 26 years of good works under our belt. But let’s not sugarcoat it—we’re a divided organization this year and although I’m disappointed with many of our members, the fact is (just like Mama Jose said) united we stand, divided they pick us off one by one. Save the drama for your llama, do the work that you want to do, and don’t expect everyone to love you. PS, Hellacious there’s no one else I’d share my Emperor with!

MICK: Some days I miss you so much it's like there's no air in the room. No one will ever take your place.

HUGS:  Mick, Len, Eggsy, Harry, Dean, Cas, Harvey, Mike, Steve, Danny, Neal, Peter, Sherlock, John, Ianto, Jack, Blair, Jim, Giles, Spike, Lex, Clark, Fox, Walter....
KUDOS: Anyone who found their way to Sunday brunch or TV night. Thanks, you make me feel special; Online friends and fans, you are my support system and I couldn't do any of it without you--I really am that internet success story; all out of town guests who make Regina more beautiful by virtue of their presence and home town folks who do the same; God Bless you all....

UPDATE: Congratulations Mr Gay Regina 27 Maxxx Power and Miss Gay Regina 27 LaLa Bottome!!

There's more and more after that, and I'd probably go on and on if I wasn't so old and tired. And besides, all that online porn won't read itself!

Oh, and don't forget:

In my world, the coffee is strong as death, black as hell and sweet as love (and always made by Ianto Jones). Fox Mulder is always just as close as my dvdplayer, Slow Motion Walter is always more than just a blues song, and the Gunmen always visit on Friday. Bunnies and bears always frolic in my living room, Blair Sandburg is always the bottom, there is always a next Sunday, everything's Benedict and nothing hurts, and finally, the Blanches are always shaken, never stirred.

That's enough to be going on with, don't you think?
