Another loving moment brought to you by the gifted
hand of c. davis-for more, check her out at:

THE BEGINNING:Skinner
is such a big help in this one-almost too helpful heh heh heh...but that
moment at the
start where Fox says "excuse me", is cold in
a way that only angry lovers can be!
DRIVE:not very slashy,
although it could have been if Crump had been bitter about homosexuals
instead of
Jews.
TRIANGLE: You know,
when you're plot revolves around The Wizard of Oz...this one's all about
the look on Skinner's face when Scully kisses him for "...what you've done
for Mulder..." and the fact that he brings Fox flowers-what the heck was
that all about??! From Joelle: when Mulder is in danger, he imagines
a Nazi officer that looks like Walter, and begs him, "Help me Skinner?"
And at the end, the soldier does? Even in his fantasies, Skinner
is his savior.
DREAMLAND:Why is
everyone so surprised when "Mulder" actually flirts with women, hmmm? Good
thing Morris and his
wife were having problems...
DREAMLAND 2:where's
the bedroom, Morris? Have you tried Skinner's apt? *L* More I can't live
this straight life angst on Fox's part.
TERMS OF ENDEARMENT:Tracking
a suspect, or harmless flirting, you decide.
RAIN KING: this
one is all about everyone knowing about Fox except for Sheila. More Wizard
of Oz stuff,
and making fun of Mulder's dating abilities,
or lack thereof.
HOW THE GHOSTS STOLE CHRISTMAS:in
a word, paramasturbatory.*L* Great insight into Mulder without
actually coming right out and saying he likes
boys.
TITHONUS: a Scully
piece, but there is that handshake with Peyton, who calls him Fox...and
I love the "Hi, my name is Fox Mulder, we used to sit next to each other
at the FBI." thing.
S.R.819-EVERYTHING!
From saying "hey" to the bruise to "I woke up-""Alone?" to the ending where
Fox is going
sketchy wanting to help, and Walter doesn't want
to get him involved. Also, did anyone ever figure out why Krycek did it?
Or are we still going with the theory that he was jealous? Let's not forget
Matheson's jealousy, or the fact that Kim is freaked when she finds Fox
in Walter's office, but acquiesces just a little too quickly-she knows.
TWO FATHERS:"I'm
not going to go down on my knees here."-Spender to Mulder. Mulder playing
basketball
with his friends, and all the old boys telling
Jeffrey that he pales in comparison to Fox...
ONE SON:"Aromatherapy
treatment"? "Grey is the new black."? Listen to her!*L* And why did CGB
mention his
lingerie fetish?
ARCADIA:ah, the
happy homomaker*L* Definetly the slashiest bit is Mulder explaining how
he and Laura met-I haven't seen wrist waving like that since the Pilot
(...enjoyed the local salmon, which, with a little lemon twist, is just
to die for...). Nice outfits, too..."You fit in here." "And you don't."
and I don't think Scully's just talking about the toilet seat here. She
knows. From Joelle: Did you ever notice the expression on Mulder's
face when Gogolak tells him, "It's important that people fit in"?
He's got this look like, "Are you saying that me and my studly boss/boyfriend
don't fit in?"
AGUA MALA:nothing
much that I can think of, although Arthur Dales is back (daddy), and he
points out that Fox has to be saved by a girl. Also, the closest Fox will
ever get to pussy *L*
MONDAY: more long-suffering
looks from Skinner than you can shake a stick at-more than boss stuff,
if you
ask me. Loved all the insight into just what
a klutz Fox can be. And I know someone wrote a story about
how the hole got in the bed, just don't remember
who.
ALPHA: Women can
be trixters too, and Mulder has to have it pointed out to him. I think
Karen was giving Scully a
run for her money in the ol' faghag department....
TREVOR:"dear diary,
today my heart lept..." Pretty fey line, Mulder, even if it is about your
best friend.
MILAGRO:Notice Padgett
says Scully's in love with Mulder, but not the other way around. Hmmm...I
personally liked the big hug at the end for it's
lack of sexual
undertones and uber-comfort thing.
THREE OF A KIND:The
gunmen and Scully-really fun ep, but not too slashy, unless you count Langley's
D&D
thing-Lord Manhammer indeed!
THE UNNATURAL: The
opening and ending are so "best friends"-I love them. Nothing overt here,
except when
Mulder says "What exactly did your brother tell
you about me?" after Arthur Dales says he's not talking about women.
FIELD TRIP: Nice
hallucinations, especially the whole shooting Skinner thing-seems sad,
unless you realize that Mulder knew that Skinner could save him, and this
was the only way. And back in the real world, Skinner is the first one
on the scene, and the first contact Mulder has with real life.
BIOGENESIS:Mulder
reading Skinner's mind, the Krycek bit with the video tape (more sexy than
espionage, I
thought), and, when Mulder is admitted to the
Monroe wing, Skinner is so despondent, when he says, "I don't
know what to do, Dana." Mmm...
Coming soon, season 7 and
the nobody cares death of
Diana Fowley...
