In other news, work was fine this week--nothing special, but no super assholes at any rate. The bar was fun last night, with shooters a plenty and good tips for an open, too. And there's a show tonight just for fun. Yay! Busy, I hope.
How does the song fit into all of this? dunno, really. I'm not a lesbian,
nor a lover, nor a homewrecker.
But I'd give an ovary to come over, I really would. And you know it....
One day at a time.
Special shout out to Brent, with the fabulous Dilbert chat room, and my dear Jedi, who's having a rough go of it right now. Know I'm thinkin' of you, sugar, lots and lots....
The rest, well, lets just say St Anthony hears from this old girl more than he'd probably like....hope it's working.
ps. Yay Gay marriage!!
Melissa Etheridge - I Want To Come Over
I know you're home
You left your light on
You know I'm here
The night is thin
I know you're alone
I watched the car leave
Your lover is gone
Let me in
Open your back door
I just need to touch you once more
I want to come over
To hell with the consequence
You told me you loved me
That's all I believe
I want to come over
It's a need I can't explain
To see you again
I want to come over
I know your friend
You told her about me
She filled you with fear
Some kind of sin
How can you turn
Denying the fire
Lover I burn
Let me in
Open your back door
I just need to touch you once more
I want to come over
To hell with the consequence
You told me you loved me
That's all I believe
I want to come over
It's a need I can't explain
To see you again
I want to come over
I know you're confused
I know that you're shaken
You think we'll be lost
Once we begin
I know you're weak
I know that you want me
Lover don't speak
Let me in
I want to come over
To hell with the consequence
You told me you loved me
That's all I believe
I want to come over
It's a need I can't explain
To see you again
I want to come over
