The Sentinel Season Two Episode Twenty One
Black or White

Uh, well, that was an embellishment on the truth.

So I cut my hair. It was grown out nearly to my ass, but what the heck. So now I have this sort of Dorothy Hamill thing going, short, feathered back, very seventies. Oh, and I went out last night, had a beer (just one, I swear) and I met this really great str8 guy. He was smart, and funny, and even attractive. He thought I was brilliant and was really interested in getting to know me as a person. We talked about quitting smoking, which I've done, and then he offered to come over today for tea and to help me with my housework, if I wanted. He's got a great job, lots of money without being nouveau riche, and a little house in the north end that was just built five years ago. His neighbours are quiet and don't have children. They often watch his dog when he has to be away on business. I'll call him sometime today to firm something up--I finally caved and realized a cell phone is necessary, so maybe I'll text him instead.
Shane changed his mind on the whole PA thing, and Will is going to come here instead, so they can get married legally. Oh! and Derrick got that transfer to the Rogers in Saskatoon, so Dorian won't be moving to Calgary. He's aceing all his classes and I suspect he'll get a scholarship or two for going to England when the time is right. Oxford's already sent him letters, I hear. (Speaking of the Princess, she was awful last night--looked terrible, and couldn't hold a note in a bag, let me tell ya!)
No real rush this morning, since we're not going for brunch. Just didn't feel like it. Don't know if it's something I'll be doing in the future, either. I changed my mind on the court thing, so I'll have to talk to Mitchell about that.
Did you hear all the latest talk about the new XF movie? Yawn....I'm so over it.
