~ Autumn ~ It's a cause for celebration When Autumn walks the land, Sprinkling miracles everywhere Too grand to understand. Nature wears a velvet gown Of crimson trimmed with lace She waves a magic, golden wand With elegance and grace. Hearts fill to overflowing As leaves begin to fall Too soon it will be snowing As Winter comes to call. Every pumpkin knows the secret But none will ever tell How Nature works her magic And holds us in her spell. It's a cause for celebration That brings me to my knees As I catch a glimpse of God Reflected in the trees. ~Author Clay Harrison ~ ....jene.... |
