| Here are some photos taken from the repair of my
Lumina. It was using a lot of oil (1 qt /600 miles) and a little bit
of water too. After getting it apart it looked like the lower intake
manifold and the valve stem seals were allowing the oil leak and the head
gaskets were causing the water leak. After putting it back together
with new parts, it doesn't use any oil between oil changes (2500mi).
After the job was done I figured out that the water leak was caused by the
pump leaking. Changed the pump and no more water use!
