Procedures to Enroll Your Child at NLMA

We understand that enrollment procedures may appear to be overwhelming at first glance. That's why we have created these step-by-step instructions. We are always happy to help you with any questions you might have. Don't hesitate to call us at (614) 889-0811.
- First, call us! We are always happy to answer your questions. Then, we ask that you arrange to visit us, to tour our facility and interview our school's Director, Mary Trickett. We know your choice of a school will be made carefully, so we invite you to ask about anything you need to know about us.
- Please verify that there is an opening in the educational program you desire for your child, and let us know of your intent to apply for admission as soon as possible.
- Please complete and return the enrollment application, with a non-refundable application of $50, paid by check, money order, or major credit card (please ask us about card eligibility). Make checks or money orders payable to Natural Learning Montessori Academy, or NLMA. Our postal address is 9321 Hillcrest Drive, Powell, Ohio, 43065.
- Then take a deep breath and relax! You've finished the hardest part, and we will contact you to arrange our meeting.
Once Your Application Has Been Accepted
We will welcome and notify you of your child's acceptance after we have accepted a completed application, and the introductory screening process has ben completed.
A signed Tuition Contact and Commitment Agreement, and other required legal forms (including any required notarization), must be filed in our Office. These forms are:
- The Emergency Information Packet containing any necessary emergency or medical information
- The Student's birth certificate and Social Security number
- An NLMA Physician's Health Report - signed by the Doctor for the current schoool year
- If applicable, a completed Transfer of Records Request Form
- A signed form of agreement to the Student Handbook
- If applicable, a certified copy of any custody order or court degree pertaining to the applicant child
Once these steps have been completed, your child's place is reserved.
We enourage you to familiarize yourself with the Montessori teaching philosophy. Please view our classes in session (by appointnment), and review our recommended reading list.
