This is a new photograph of Kemmerer. The Arizona Rock
& Mineral Ballast held up well during the move. The exposed Woodland
Scenics Track-Bed pads will soon host my Sunrise Enterprise Signals.
This is my favorite locomotive, a Kato C30-7 (still awaiting number boards,
although the handrails have been painted as per UP directive c.1983). |
|
A slightly different angle. The tank car is an Atlas
23,500g Tank Car California Rail Car #3036. |
|
Again, the same locomotive as seen from the layout edge
through the Light Repair Shed. The shed is loosely based upon plans
contained in N-Scale Magazine. |
|
An updated photograph of the Kemmerer Depot. Although
not the same UP blueprint as the one in Kemmerer, the model is fairly close. |
|
A final shot of the C30-7 this time taken through the fuel
and sand track. Most of the visible details came from CalFreight
with a few from DeLuxe Innovations i.e.. the porta-johns. |
Newest Photos - Focused on Kemmerer Detailing
|
|
|
Still working the usage of the Digital Camera - however, this is a
new view of Kemmer with some additional detailing completed. Of note, new
oil tanks, crates, and roll-off dumpster from CalFreight. Also shown
are two of my Christmas gifts, a KATO SD40-2 in BN livery and a Life-Like
F40PH (to pull my Amtrak Pioneer.) |

A slightly different angle of the same area of Kemmerer.

A shot taken looking at the chemical tanks at the Sugar Processing
Plant. |
|
Taken across the service looking at the loading/parking ramp
at the Sugar Processing Plant. Three of my AC Models 20' Container
Chassis are seen. What a great, easy to build product from a great
innovator...thanks Alan Curtis! |
|
Not sure of the final plan for creating a spill wall for my diesel
fuel tank - the rocks idea was taken from a UP photo, but they seem out
of place to me. Still deciding...

Two of the great AC Models chassis. One is shown being hauled
away by a detailed Con-Cor Semi Tractor. |
