Across a Crowded Floor Eyes seeking eyes across a crowded floor, Step by step we come together. "May I have this dance sweet Lady?", "Just a twirl or two?". God, maybe it's a promise of a nights surrender.
Dancing arm in arm, Swaying to music cherished from the past. Sweet melodies meant to lure, God, Please let this feeling last.
Kisses stolen between each beat, Arms caressing, bodies sweetly meet. In the arms of a stranger, God, I wish he really loved me.
Memories of another's arms, The forgotten feel of his solid body. Kisses given like a truest lover, God, Help protect me from his Charms.
It's been so long since I had another, Let me soak in his smell, his lovers feel. Give me a moment to forget about old sorrows, God, Wishing I could relive all my old tomorrow's.
Time to leave but please just let him follow. If only he can just pretend to be a cherished lover, Whisper sweet nothings in my ear. God, Let me enjoy a man's feel again, Without losing myself in fear.
