Morning Shadows

Morning shadows dancing on my bedroom walls,

Melodies from Mourning Doves softly can be heard.

There's no echo's of your breathing,

No warmth lingers from your body,

As I wake from fantasies of cherished yesterdays.

Remembrances of sweet kisses on my brow,

Touches sweet and gentle still remain an illusion in my mind.

The voice of lovers soundless amid the morning stillness.

My fallen heart cries out come back,

Fill me once again with your distant lovers feel.

A routine of Love has been broken,

Replaced with countless lonely hours standing in my path.

How did we lose those simple emotions,

Dreams of our future generations?

All reduced now to me endlessly whispering my silent love to you..

Do you wake the same as I?

Gently calling out my woman's name,

With dreams held of me making love to you again?

Let me gently touch you,

If only from this distance we've selflessly imposed.

I shall savor all our memories.

Raise our long wished for unborn child,

I'll be the sole keeper of lost love's sweetest dreams.

The feel of your body, the scent of  your clothes,

Will remain in my soul forever,

Packaged tightly with my love, kept eternally yours.

I will start my day again,

Missing you all over with each new heartbeat.

Now the morning hours will be past,

For they have become the hardest of all to bear.

I pray you know more peace than I .

Let me pass by you this day,

Have a glimpse at what I lost.

May God let you remember me fondly,

The feel of my lovers body, the taste of my sweet lips.

The scent of my lost passion for this lovers tryst.

Dedicated to anyone who has lived the words or can feel them as they are read. I only Loved like that once when I was very young...but it seems like that kind of Obsessive Love should only belong to the dreamy eye's of the very young. Diana

Trees are turning,
The sun's not burning,
Autumn is in the air.

The breeze is blowing,
Your hair is flowing,
Holding hands when you are there.

The leaves are falling,
The birds stopped calling,
It is cold and snow is in the air.

But in the house it is warming,
Cuddled with my wife on the easy chair.

Outside it has started snowing,
But the fireplace is glowing,
I'm at your side, knowing that you care….

GRACED WITH LOVE

So happy!
Love has graced my life.
He has eyes of gold,
that shimmers like the sun.
Melting my heart inside.
A smile that makes his
face shine.
Reflecting the love he has
inside to share.
The love we will share
together.
Our love now is new.
One to be nutured with
tenderness.
In his eyes I see our future.
The future of happiness and
love to grow.

I close my eyes,
And I am mesmerized,
Thoughts of you,
Always circling through,
    …my mind.

In my dreams,
Just you it seems,
No one else is there,
I just can't bear,
    …my dreams.

In my thoughts,
Happiness you've brought,
Once again I see your face,
I just can't take,
    …my thoughts.

Sitting all alone,
Thinking of the love I've known,
Since you're not there,
And I am aware,
    …of my loneliness………….
