How Can I be So Blessed

How can I be so blessed,

to hold within my grasp a love as fair as yours?

How did I capture your heart,

Heaven made from the rarest Gold?

From what outstanding action do I deserve,

to own your undying devotion?

God sent to me an Angel to light my darkened way,

a genuine friend to stand forever beside me.

A healing force to walk me though times of troubles,

Guiding and empowering me to heights,

never reached by me before.

Oh God tell me,

why I was chosen by this love of mine?

Did I say a prayer to you,

asking for only the very best Heaven had to offer?

Did I sell my soul for the Peace,

and Kindness they have brought my way?

To whom do I Thank,

for sending me this gentle soul?

Is there a price I shall have to pay,

for touching a piece of Heaven's own?

Can enough payment ever be made to you,

for this cherished gift of friendship that has been bestowed?

Thank You for your friendship, my life has been made better by knowing you. I have taken  your friendship into my heart a made it a part of the essence of the person I am now. Love to you always .....
