WWF King of the Ring
Sax's Revolution

World Wrestling Federation Championship
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho

Winner & Still WWF Champion: Stone Cold

At King of the Ring, the odds will be against Stone Cold Steve Austin like never before. The Rattlesnake must defend his World Wrestling Federation Championship against Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho -- two men with huge grudges against the Bionic Redneck, and two men who hold pinfall victories over him in the past month.

Benoit and Jericho have both tasted the Federation Championship briefly. Benoit won the title from Rock twice last year -- at Fully Loaded and Unforgiven -- only to have the decision reversed. And Y2J won the title from Triple H last April on RAW, only to have The Game and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley use their political pull to reverse the decision.

Y2J and the Wolverine are hungry. But Stone Cold has been transfixed on just one thing since returning from spinal surgery last September -- the World Wrestling Federation Championship. The Rattlesnake went so far as to sell his soul to Mr. McMahon at WrestleMania just to once again taste the Federation gold.

Will the two-on-one mentality be too much for Austin to overcome? Can Benoit and Jericho co-exist when the most prestigious singles title in all of sports entertainment is on the line? Will Austin's relationship with Mr. McMahon play a role in the bout?

All of these questions will be answered at King of the Ring!

Street Fight
Shane McMahon vs. Kurt Angle

Winner: Kurt Angle

On the May 21 episode of RAW IS WAR, Kurt Angle held a ceremony on RAW IS WAR to celebrate regaining his gold medals from Chris Benoit at Judgment Day the night before.

Unfortunately for Kurt, his ceremony was cut short by WCW chairman Shane McMahon, who wanted to inform Kurt and the world that WCW was starting soon -- and sooner than people think. Angle took exception to Shane's interruption, and planted the Boy Wonder with an Olympic slam, before wrenching Shane in the ankle lock.

The feud between these two has gotten really personal, and has grown even more intriguing with the recent involvement of Lance Storm and Hugh Morrus on Federation programming.

At King of the Ring, the Boy Wonder meets the Olympic hero, and the eyes of the entire sports entertainment world will be watching.
