It's the most exciting hour of the year in the World Wrestling Federation, and the winner gets a shot at the Federation Championship at WrestleMania X8!

Undisputed WWF Championship
The Rock vs. Chris Jericho

Winner & Still Undisputed Champion: Chris Jericho

Since capturing the Undisputed World Wrestling Federation Championship at Vengeance, Chris Jericho has been unstoppable. Y2J has had successful title defenses against Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Big Show and even Rock himself.

But if anyone knows Y2J, it's The Rock. Their battles at No Mercy and Vengeance are legendary, as the two men traded the World Championship on several occasions last year.

There's something about the Royal Rumble that brings out the best in World Wrestling Federation Championship matches. Last year, Triple H and Kurt Angle waged a bitter battle for the title, and the year before that, The Game and Cactus Jack electrified Madison Square Garden with their infamous street fight. And who can forget 1992, when Ric Flair lasted an hour in the Rumble en route to becoming Federation Champion?

The Rock and Chris Jericho have an amazing chemistry together. And with the richest prize in sports entertainment on the line, their showdown at the Royal Rumble could be their best match yet!

Street Fight
Ric Flair vs. Vince McMahon

Winner: Ric Flair

Ric Flair owns half of the World Wrestling Federation. Vince McMahon owns half of the World Wrestling Federation. And at the Royal Rumble, these two men will battle it out!

This rivalry dates back more than a decade, as detailed by Ric Flair on SmackDown! After Vince gave the Nature Boy the chance to come to the World Wrestling Federation and to be in the main event at WrestleMania, he displayed a condescending attitude towards Flair, something Flair has never forgotten to this day.

So when Flair bought Shane's and Stephanie's stock in WWFE, the Nature Boy figured it would only be a matter of time before he and Vince were at each others' throats. Lo and behold, after finding that Vince's contract referred to Mr. McMahon as "Owner/Wrestler," he forced the Federation chairman to meet him one-on-one at the Royal Rumble!

Vince McMahon is the greatest wrestling promoter of all time. He has also had a string of success in the ring, having won the 1999 Royal Rumble match, and having briefly held the Federation Championship. But when it comes to being in the ring, there's no one better than 14-time World Champion Ric Flair.

What happens when Federation co-owner meets Federation co-owner? The sports-entertainment world as we know it could be shaken to its knees!

Intercontinental Championship
Edge vs. William Regal

Winner & NEW IC Champion: William Regal

Since winning the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series, Edge has been a dominant champion, and a fighting champion. He has had successful defenses against a number of superstars -- including over William Regal, who Edge defeated at Vengeance.

But the SmackDown! after Vengeance, Edge gave Regal the Edge-ecution onto a steel chair, busting his nose open and requiring Regal to endure three separate surgeries. Now Regal has returned, and he's more focused than ever to defeat Edge for the title.

Tag Team Championship
Dudley Boyz vs. Tazz & Spike Dudley

Winners & Still Tag Team Champions: Tazz & Spike Dudley

On the Jan. 7 episode of RAW, Tazz and Spike Dudley accomplished something that many sports-entertainers dream about but have never actually done -- they won a championship at Madison Square Garden.

But the team they defeated for the titles -- the Dudley Boyz -- are the most accomplished team in sports-entertainment history, and they want their titles back. At the Royal Rumble, the runt of the Dudley litter and the orange-and-black attack meet Bubba Ray and D-Von with the Tag Team Championship on the line!

Women's Championship
Jazz vs. Trish Stratus

Winner & Still Women's Champion: Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus made a dream come true at the Survivor Series, when she emerged victorious in a Six-Pack Challenge to become the new Women's Champion. Since then, Trish has successfully defended her title against such superstars as Lita, Jacqueline and Mighty Molly.

That Six-Pack Challenge at Survivor Series saw the debut of Jazz. And while Jazz was not involved in the decision, her actions in the match and ever since have established her as a top contender to Trish's title.

Jazz could be Trish's toughest challenge yet -- and at the Rumble, the Women's Championship will be on the line when these two clash!

Stone Cold, Undertaker, & Big Show vs. William Regal & Dudley Boyz

There has never been anyone as charismatic as The Rock. He truly is the most electifying man in sports entertainment. His showmanship, his raw ability to engage fans and the audience is highly respected and well noted by those who follow the World Wrestling Federation--and by those who don't.
