John Renty Baker - was a Captain in Col. Benjamin Cleveland's Regiment

Messenger Lewis - 1778, Connecticut, Capt. Jeremiah Knapp's Co. - Filed for pension December 2, 1883, granted #531207 - inscribed on the Kentucky roll
Jesse Bowling - North Carolina and Virginia Militia - applied for pension 1832, granted October 22, 1832
William Henson - William Henson applied for a pension for Revolutionary War, in 1827, Knox County. Pension was $96.00 per year.
Kendall Emerson - Served as a Private and Sergeant in Capt. Jesse Wyman's Company, Col Jacob Gerrish's regiment, Massachusetts Line. War of 1812


Reuben Woods - 13th Ky. Reg. commanded by Col. William Dudley, was also in Capt. Ambrose Arthurs Co. Enlisted March 25, 1813 at Barboursville, Kentucky, Bounty land claim filed January 25, 1851 - mustered out September 20, 1813
Issac Allred - Company G. 8th Ohio Cavalry. Served for Jacob Rains in "Holts" Detachment, with Capt. Nisbet April 28, 1812, he also served in Capt. Flemings Co, Adams Battalion, February 16, 1813 - August 15, 1814 as a Private and subsitute for Owen Darby in John Rofs (Ross) Company.

Civil War


John Wahl - Company B 25th Ohio Volunteers - enlisted February 23, 1864 in Norwalk, Huron, Ohio, was promoted Corporal on June 18, 1866, mustered out in Columbus, Ohio
Andrew Jackson Sellers - Company C 5th Ohio Volunteer Reg. also served in the 10th Ky. Cavarly. He died in the National Soliders Home in Dayton, Ohio
Emerson Allred - killed during the Civil War, January 31, 1862
John Davidson - Company K 14th Ky Cavalry - enlisted December 3, 1862, Breathitt County, Kentucky, mustered out March 24, 1864, Camp Nelson, Jessamine County, Kentucky. He was promoted Corporal March 20, 1863
Blevins Sizemore - 7th Ky. Infantry
Hiram Hoskins - Company H 24th Kentucky Infantry, was a Private
Silas Hoskins - Company H 24th Ky. Infantry, and Company K 6th Kentucky Cavalry, was a Corporal
Andrew Jackson Sizemore - 7th Co. E. Ky. Infantry
Martin Fugate - Company C, Three Forks Battalion, Union Army - was a Sergeant. His captian was William B. Eversole. Enlisted August 17, 1864. Was killed at his home in Perry County Kentucky on January 3, 1865, by Rebel Confederate soldiers, along with 2 other men from his company and one man from Co. M 14th Kentucky Cavalry

World War I


Charles Keck - enlistment date - September 11, 1917 - Enlistment Division - Regular Army. Enlistment Location - Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Assignments - 1 Co. Portland Coast Artillery Corps to December 9, 1917. Headquarters Company 54 Atry Coast Artillery Corps to May 17, 1918.; Battery E 60 Artillery Coast Artillery Corps to Discharge Sergeant, August 31, 1918. American Expeditionary Forces March 22 1918 to March 7, 1919. Honorable discharge March 21, 1919.

World War II


Joseph Henry Wahl - S2C United States Navy - fought in the Battle of Leyte Gulf in the Philippines, his ship, the USS St. Lo, was struck and sunk by a Kamikaze plane, on October 26, 1944. Medals recieved - Purple Heart, Amercian Campaign - Liberation of Philippines, and the Presidental Citation.
Clifford Wahl - Private in the Army. Arm of Service - MD - was a medical technician - Fought in the battle for Burma - Medals recieved - Asiatic Pacific Theater Service Medal - Bronze Star - American Defense Service Medal - Meritorious Service Unit Badge - American Theater Service Medal - Good conduct medal with clasp - Victory Medal
Raymond Wahl - killed in action, December 16, 1944 at the Battle of the Bugle, Belguim - member of the Armored Tank Division under General George Patton, inducted in to service, December 26, 1942.
