MUCK is the term used for one of the most popular reol-playing spots in the ROC. It stands for something, but at the moment, I cannot recall what it is ;) Role-playing is when you mentally put yourself into a character's role, usually one that you create based on the normal Redwall parameters. Usually on a message board or chat room, you interact with other players who are also role-playing their carious characters, and interesting events can occure. This "MUCK" can be reached by going to Here(The link is broken again!). If you do happen to get in, the link under the tree will take you into the MUCKing area.
If you are seriously into MUCKing, I would suggest you download a MUCKclient. They are free, small, and very helpful as you can use various functions to help you keep characters and places straight. Once inside the MUCK, ask around to find out where to get one.
I currently have several characters who I use for role-playing.
TreeSwift- Treeswift is a fairly young, polite, and cheerful squirrel. She enjoys pulling pranks and tricks, though you may not always know whether she is joking or not. She plays a small reed flute when she is bored or just in the mood, and battles with a quarter staff. She speaks with a thick Northern accent, with old English mixed in. When it comes to battle or defence, she is deadly serious. Treeswift also has rudimentary skills in healing, and her honor is very important to her.
Halfnut- This is an elderly mouse who wanders around with his old tunic and a ragged bag of various odds and ends. He acts the mildly senile, harmlessly insane part, but it is unknown how much of it is really an act. He does, however, have a long scar running along the left side of his skull.
Theolyn- Arrogant hare warrior to the core, she completely refuses to speak or act in the usual flippancy of her kind. She is neatly, if poorly, dressed in a pale blue tunic, tan breeches, and blue cloak. Her weapon of choice is the longsword, and hers bears a blue stone at the pommel. She has a strong-set face, is almost completely neutral on any topic or conflict, and does not take any trouble from anyone.
This is a chart from Sea Glider of Lunar Isle. This is a fairly accurate comparison of hieghts, assuming the animals are people sized :) I did a little tweaking of my own, but this is pretty close to Sea Glider's chart. If you're of the animal-size school, this is still useful for comparison.

rp (message)- Talk out of character(like if you want to talk about football or something not Redwall related)
