That same year the author looks upon the Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary Resort. Note the 25th anniversary castle. Space Mountain is to the right.

The Disney experience is captured in full force on this one-of-a-kind attraction. Built two years after Orlando's, this indoor coaster complex utilizes the very best from Disney (based on Arrow's coaster designs used on Matterhorn). Inside the incredible needle-topped building in Tomorrowland, you'll climb aboard a fantastic journey that catapults you into a futuristic world of dazzling lights, sounds, and feelings. Orlando's features two separate coasters, giving slightly different rides, but Anaheim's is a single track, and seats more riders per train. Rarely, when maintenance needs to make an adjustment, the lights will come on! I have seen this once........WOW! It is amazing that the cars (and riders) fit inbetween the structure the way they do! The cars, which look like giant rocket pops, have glow in the dark stripes, and whizz along their course with ease. There are lots of suprises, so be ready! And if you ever get to Disneyland Paris, be sure to ride their Space Mountain, which features a launch AND inversions!
