Basic Duaa
.
.
.
Du'aa are prayers that can be said at anytime of the day or
night. They do not require any special preparation or positions.
They can be said anywhere, loud or silent.
These are basic du'aa (invocations) that new Muslims should learn.
These are also good to teach your children if they are just
learning about Islam.
My children and I memorize one new du'aa in Arabic each week and practice using it at the correct time. The next week we memorize another du'aa and add it to the du'aa we're already doing. This way we are not only memorizing du'aa but we are also adding their use to the previous ones we know. More will be added from time to time if God so wills.
Allah the Most Generous says, "Call on me, I will answer your prayer." [Qur'an 40:60]
