Obviously the actors who starred in The X-Men were cast partially because of their resemblance to the actual characters... but I'm sure those makeup artists had to work some wonders to make real people look like comic book characters. I personally think in the transformation from fiction to reality, little was lost and everyone rocked. But just for chuckles, here are some pictures of the cast, as themselves and as mutants.

Sadly, Hugh does not strongly resemble his sexy Saturday Morning cartoon counterpart. He's actually pretty much the only person who does not in the least bit look like the character he played.
