That is Hugh. Whoo hoo. Of course, Hugh Jackman is quite important to me because if I can have the hots for a cartoon, I can most certainly have the hots for a real-life version of him. I was quite disappointed to learn that Hugh looks virutally nothing like that in every day normal life, but I must certainly pay homage to such a talented actor, regardless of whether or not he looks as good as a cartoon. (Which is not insult to him.)

- Biography -
Hugh was born into a family of two English parents and four elder siblings, all English. He, however, is Australian. Go figure. He comes from Sydney, Australia. Life is weird, huh?

Mr. Jackman (I feel odd calling him Hugh, like I know him. Like he's my buddy or something. Plus I keep typing "Huh.") either has a degree in journalism or almost has a degree in journalism. I'm not sure because I couldn't really find out. Good thing I'm not a journalist.

Mr. Jackman was offered a part in "Neighbours," an Australian soap opera (you know, the one they show on VH1 because Natalie Imbruglia was on it Before She Was A Star), but turned it down so he could go to school. The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, to be more specific.

He is married, so assuage your hormonal urges for him. He has a son, too. In case you would like to construct a giant delusional fantasy in which you play his wife (NOTE: This site does not reccommend creating delusional fantasies for yourself... it'll make you sad in the end), her name is Deborra-Lee Furness, and she is an actress.

Hugh is a good singer. Apparently. I never heard him sing, so I wouldn't know. I guess if you wanna be Wolverine you have to be able to sing, because Cal "The Voice of Wolverine" Dodd can sing. Check out his bio if you don't believe me.

Mr. Jackman was in "Beauty and the Beast" and was nominated for an Olivier Award for his performance in "Oklahoma!" (Their exclamation point, not mine. I'm not overly enthusiastic about Oklahoma.)

He's also won a Variety Club Stage Actor Award, and two Mo Awards. (That's Mo Awards, not a lazy version of "more awards.")
In the summer of 1999, he was named Australian Star of the Year (just edging out the sun and the north star), and the Most Fashionable Man in Australia.

He's a pretty special guy, and he can do lots of stuff, like: play the piano, golf, juggle, sing, act, and drink gin and tonic.

In my opinion, he's probably the coolest thing to come out of Australia since the Living End (a punk band, for those who don't know), and he makes a lot of ladies drool. Well that last part is not simply opinion, but real, 100% true factual information.

By the way, this has nothing to do with the biography, but this picture makes me laugh, because even though this was one of the most dramatic parts of the movie, they both look so comfortable. I don't know if that's because it's NOT a still, but like a between-scenes snapshot or what, but it sure is funny-lookin'. It's like Wolverine's saying, "How's that? Is that OK? You comfortable?" and she's like, "Oh, I dunno... this is OK, but... I wanna try it with just two claws. Let's see how that is."

Alright, maybe it isn't funny, and maybe my explanation of it even made it sound a little bit sick, but so what? The biography's over anyway.
