Welcome!---Ashland Group Ride
Mood:  happy
Due to popular demand I would like to introduce the Ashland Group Ride Blog. If you have a ride you'd like to announce (with starting point in or near Ashland County) please e-mail me at tomasek_chem@hotmail.com and I will post it. Please provide your name, contact info, starting point of ride, length of ride (and approx route), type of rider that would be best suited for your specific ride. You can specify "ladies only", "family welcome", "experienced riders only", etc... You can also use this to advertise sponsored group rides (i.e. church fund raiser rides) Posts will be made at my discretion (Example: I will not post rides for racist organizations)

Notice, unless specified, these rides are NOT endorsed by the Ashland County Bicycling Association (ACBA) and Neither ACBA nor the Webmaster (Aaron) will be held accountable for any injury on any ride. You are responsible for talking with the organizer(s) of the ride and feeling confident for your own safety. If the other riders in the group are faster than you and you become lost and subsequently eaten by hungry coyotes, it is not my problem or concern. I will, however, make a low-ball offer to your next of kin for your bicycle and any other gear left behind.

Detailed Instructions can be found here: http://www.ashlandbicycling.com/ride_details.html

October 2, 2005 -Kokosing Gap Trail Ride
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: ACBA Ride
We will meet at Mount Vernon Sunday October 2nd 1:00 pm and ride the length of the trail. We will likely stop at Gambier for a bite to eat on the way back from Danville. This will be ~25 mile ride (at your own pace). Feel free to ride an abbreviated portion of the ride. There are no age restrictions (kids welcome) and you in lieu of bicycles, you can bring your rollerblades or other non-motorized forms of transporation. This is another free ACBA event. More details to follow. Contact Aaron (tomasek_chem@hotmail.com) for questions or details.
