I wonder what kind of person I am in your eyes with the examples that I set taking you into my heart from the moment we first met As a child, when you fell I picked you up and wiped away your little tears always trying to shield you from any pain as I watched you grow over the years. That kind, trusting heart of yours that means more to me then any gems or gold Those big blue eyes, I wonder about all the tales that they hold I see so much joy in them but also the pain you try to hide such a sweet innocent soul you hold deep inside If you could catch a glimpse of what my heart does see What a beautiful young woman you have grown to be. You truly were a gift sent here from high above I have learned so much from you but most of all, I have learned how to love. You give your love unconditionally A love so pure and true and I pray everyday that I walk this earth that I grow to be a little more like you.
