During our trips to Rivers, there are many other species we love to fish for. This page will be dedicated to them.

Hybrid Striper

This is one of funnest fish we come accrossed. The Hybrid Striper is a cross between a male whitebass & a female true striper.. They grow big in Ohio too record is 17lbs+. West Virgina & Ohio both stock them in certain pools along the Ohio river. You can catch them on many lures and fresh cut-bait. This one is my personal best at 10.4lbs and 31" long. Caught on fresh skipjack herring on 6/1/02.

Dave Skulich

This is my fishing partner Dave with a nice Hybrid caught on 5/31/02 using live bait. The smaller Hybrids are a blast on light tackle, But for the bigger ones you better have some good tackle as they never give up and fight like pitbulls.
