"Taken on Route 161 due west of I-270, city of Columbus. Good example of how Franklin County indicates what roads are at an intersection ahead.  I chose this one because I'm a fan of the somewhat unusual streetnames" - Quoting James Moyer detailing this picture taken on August 10.

"Taken just a bit west of the intersection of Morse and State Route 3. This intersection had just been rebuilt, and I was floored by the unusual size of the Route 3 sign." - Quoting James Moyer detailing this picture taken on August 10.

"This is the road signage used in the Easton shopping complex."  - Quoting James Moyer detailing this picture taken on August 10.

"Even though it's in the city of Columbus, signs at large intersections at Easton are mounted on the overhead poles holding the traffic signals."  - Quoting James Moyer detailing this picture taken on August 10.

"Morse Road, eastbound, sign in median between Morse service road and Morse road itself. I was intrigued by how the Fountain Square ahead sign was bolted onto the ODNR sign."  - Quoting James Moyer detailing this picture taken on August 10.

"Kingry once was a regular street, right off of 11th Avenue (on the north side.) Then came along I-71, splitting it off oddly. In order to get to Kingry, one takes the 11th avenue ramp to I-71 northbound, and then veers to the right. Not exactly a county sign, but worthy of examination nevertheless."  - Quoting James Moyer detailing this picture taken on August 10.

"This is the style of a typical road sign used at a high traffic intersection in Columbus."   - Quoting James Moyer detailing this picture taken on August 10.

"Sign showing how Columbus/Franklin county indicates a service road for a road that has no other name for itself."  - Quoting James Moyer detailing this picture taken on August 10.

"Red color, instead of green, used for signs on the campus of Ohio State."  - Quoting James Moyer detailing this picture taken on August 10.

"A bit east of the Morse/State Route 3 intersection, taken going eastbound...this sign was recently erected at the end of the Morse Road construction. The sign seems to indicate that Trindal is accessible from the right (south) side of the street, in reality, the street is on the left (north) side of Morse, and the sign needs to be flipped 180 degrees."  - Quoting James Moyer detailing this picture taken on August 10.

"As indicated by the Trindel picture, there is also some disagreement over the spelling of the road."   - Quoting James Moyer detailing this picture taken on August 10.

This is the standard signage for rural Franklin County.  Hubbard Road, or Franklin CR 140, goes north of National Road/US-40.  This is less than a mile from the Madison County line.  Taken 11/23/03 by James Schul.  Thank you!
