Dear Family,
This Christmas I wanted to do something special for you. I am
not able to purchase gifts so I have decided to create this section
of The Family Webpage for you.
I think what
creates the most enjoyable and lasting memories are the special
moments and experiences that we share together. Even though
we share these special moments there is so much about each of
you that I do not know because of our ages, how our lives have
taken each of us in our own personal directions, and how much
time is spent apart.
During the time
that we have together gives an opportunity to share our presence
with each other and to enjoy past memories but it does not always
give us a level of intimacy where we can truly know each other
on a deeper level. This is mainly due to the size of our family
and so much occuring during the family gatherings.
I know that I
have never utilized our time together to express my inner feelings
to each of you. To describe how I view you, what I have learned
from you, and how having you in my life has touched and blessed
me. Some of this is due to not having the opportunity during
family gatherings, not taking an opportunity that is there, but
mainly not being able to express my deepest inner feelings verbally.
On the following
page I am going to try to express this for I want each of you
to know how special you are and how you have touched me in my
most deepest and most protected place of my heart. At this time
I am only writing of my siblings but in the future I would like
to do the same for the rest of the family.
