Just when I thought this liner note business was over, here
comes a call from the Razor & Tie liner-note-goon-squad
saying., "Not so fast Mr. Man, your work here is not done!" Well,
believe me, I tried to resist, but when Cliff and Craig turn on that
Sullivan St. (by way of Columbus) charm, well, what's a guy to do?
Hey, l've seen Taxi Driver! Anyway, here comes Right Back At Ya,
Again, Right Back At Ya Vol.ll, or whatever the Hell they're gonna call
it! My vote was cast for We've Never Heard of You Either, but Mr,
Chenfeld and his marketing toady put an end to that idea! You'd
think Jets fans would have more of a sense of humor, wouldn't
you? But, back to business. As I said in the notes for Right Back At Ya
(a CD you should own before the peer pressure becomes over-
whelming!), none of this would have been possible without the
support of our friends, families, and the greatest fans in the world!
Our road crew ("The Mels") kept us going, and special thanks are
due to Dan Montecalvo, Pat Scardina, John Vorobel, Cyril Turek,
and the world's best road manger, Jim Soffos! On the management
side, Mike Belkin, and everyone at Belkin Productions, and David
Spero at DSM Management, have been friends as well as advisors,
and I thank them for all their dedication and support! And, last but
not least, special thanks to the producers and engineers who
helped to mold this music, Bill Szymczyk, Robert John "Mutt"
Lange, Harty Maslin, Fred Mollin, Eddie Kramer, Don Gehman, and
Bob Clearmountain, You guys are the best! Once again, thank God
for the man who put the white lines on the highway, and thank
