"The Nervous Breakdown"

This particular piece was one of several studies in expression done around the same time. I'm always on the look out for more expressions. Since Bug-Things are a head on a long neck with no body, facial expression is used to show emotion. Bug-Things are also the most expressive of any of my characters and also the test grounds. Nearly every expression I draw was first drawn on a Bug-Thing. They're very tolerant of experimentation, a good quality in any organism.
Also, of all the drawings I've done in all my years, this one is my personal favorite. I'm quite partial to it.
