"Cleared for Docking"
Date: 10 May 2000.
This was one of a series of scenes I did featuring the starship depicted, the Columbus class USS Magellan. The other drawings are basically close-ups and not much to look at for that reason. I liked the idea of showing the awaiting vessel out the window of an approaching shuttlecraft, which has a dramatic feel. Unfortunately, the perspective of the mother ship skews slightly near the stern (oops). Note also the television image of the ship above the window.
