Japanese Reels

Americans have a ton of rods, reels and lures to choose from. Other countrys such as the United Kingdom lead the world in many respects in the industry with thier exceptional 100% full carbon rods and many brand named baitrunner style reels. They are years ahead of us when it comes to bank fishing for carp and cats thats for sure. This also is true for the Japanese industry in thier manufacturing of the highest quality bass gear. Brand names such as Shimano and Daiwa, to name a few ,come equipt with higher quality standards than ours do!! I cant understand why our tackle manufactures cant get it through thier heads that we are one of the luckiest countrys in the world top have such a massive quantity of game species and also a vast number of anglers seeking these species from freshwater to saltwater. But yet countrys like Japan release better tackle than we do? Where did England and Japan get thier largemouth bass from??.... the United States of course, but yet they have better equipment??? Oh well, i say that most anglers just settle for what tackle they can find locally to them and just except it if they dont get what they really want....i say "to hell with that"! I have been lucky enough to hook up with a Japanese dealer and have purchased a few reels already. To give you and idea of just how much better the Japanese tackle is compared to ours, heres a comparison....American Shimano Calcutta 3 ball besarings total one of the best baitcasting reels out there...Japanese version, 11 ball bearings total, plus a totally new look to some models(yea they have more than ONE version of the Calcutta)..thats a BIG difference..you hear some say after more than 3-4 ball bearings its just a waste..lol...thats just those who cant afford the higher end tackle and try to justify it anyway they can. My parents ask me every year about this time(November) what can they get me for X-mas??? Well this year i was ready(big smile)...hope you enjoy these few Japanese models below...i think if we get enough anglers to complain to tackle manufactures we too can get better tackle like the others accrossed the pond!Til then i'll keep getting my stuff from other countrys (hahaha)Keep watching this page as i will be adding more and more "over seas" reels very soon!
