Don Paxton's Railroad Pictures

A picture postcard of the railroad yards in Newark, Ohio. This is the main yard where my Grandfather worked from 1950 to 1989.

Here's a picture that my grandfather, Don Paxton, took in 1950 of a big steam engine on the Cincinnati to Wheeling line, Engine 5308.

A picture of the Hatfield Railroad Tunnel in 1909. The tunnel was used by the railroad when my grandfather worked on the Newark Ohio Division, and the tunnel may still be in use today. Our family is related to the Hatfield family, for whom the tunnel is supposedly named after.
