Episode Thirteen: In The End . . . What Matters?

Tribal Council
The four remaining Survivors made the long trek to Tribal Council and sat down in their usual spots. Only four lit torches were left in the game while twelve were extinguished. One more would be snuffed tonight. The five Jury members: Babette, Ruben, Emily, Madison and Asher walked into the Tribal Council area and observed the events that occurred that night. The Hosts began to ask questions:

“Mick,” Adam asked, “being the oldest, and probably the weakest, do you think hey maybe these guys just kept me around so they could pick the weak one off in the end, after they whipped you around in the challenges?

Mick responded: “No I don't. I think I’ve played this game well, honestly, and fair. I think i made it this far, because I deserved it, and earned it. If tonight’s my night, then so be it, it's been fun, and may I wish the rest good luck.”

Chris turned to Cole, “Cole, you were one of the most controversial characters in the game. It seemed as if you did whatever it took to get to the end and it seems like it succeeded, but is that truly how you wanted to play or is that how you came off?”

“I don’t’ regret one thing I did in this game, every person I voted off was just one person that brought me closer to wher eI am now!” Cole exclaimed.

“Kyle, how do you feel wearing immunity? Do you feel guilty that Olivia may need that more than you?” Adam asked.

“It just guarantees I'm safe another night. I think that there are others, who could use it more then me, but heck I need it if I wanna stand any chance at winning, I do feel bad though because it puts Olivia at risk.”

“Well, it’s time to vote,” the Hosts pointed to the voting confessional down the rock pathway. “Mick, you’re first.” Mick walked up to the voting confessional and jotted down the name of a Survivor and then placed it in the voting urn.

Cole followed Mick and wrote down Olivia’s name on the voting pad. He held up the vote and said, “..you did absolutely nothing to get here…” and placed the vote in the urn. Following Cole was Kyle and Olivia who both wrote down the name of a Survivor left in the game before they returned to their seats.

“Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will have to leave the Tribal Council area immediately.”

“We have a tie,” Chris said. “In the event of a tie, whomever involved in the tie may state their case as why they should be kept in the game rather than being ousted. Then those not involved in the tie will vote again for whom they want to leave. If another tie occurs, a random elimination will follow.”

Mick tells the tribe, “Well all I got to say is thanks. I've had a great time, and I'm glad I made it this far. Cole, and Kyle I think it'd be in your best interest if you wanna win this game to boot Olivia this round, she's a threat plain and simple. Or you could go the random route, and risk your own elimination, but I think you’ll make the right choice.”

Olivia tells the tribe, “I know at this point, the only person I have to convince to change their vote is Cole because Kyle has immunity and even if we did have to be picked off randomly it wouldn't be him. Cole, you've worked hard to get this far in the game and I think you know that if Mick were in the Final Two with you, or with anyone they’d be sure to lose, so I think you should boot him instead of me.”

At that Cole and Kyle revoted, and the Host tallied those votes as well.

“We have another tie. All those involved in the tie must choose a rock from this bag. There are two two colored rocks and a black rock. Whomever pulls out the black rock is out of the game.” Cole, Mick and Olivia reached into the bag and pulled out rocks.

“Cole, please reveal your rock,” the Host said. Cole revealed a purple rock.

“Olivia, please reveal your rock.” Olivia revealed the black rock. She was the one whom was randomly ousted from the game. She gave Kyle a sweet kiss on the cheek then made her way out of the game for good. This left us with the Final Three: Mick, Cole and Kyle.
