Episode Five: What To Do?

Day Thirteen:

Marco in a confessional

Confrontation
“What the fuck just happened?” Marco screamed at his tribe mates furious the night after the fourth Tribal Council. He was furious that he was lied to, and one of his closest friends in the game, Trinity, was voted out because of a brutal four-person alliance between Cole, Emily, Madison and Asher.

“We’re playing the game,” Madison told Marco.

“This is how you play the game?” Marco screamed. “You lied to us, you could be honest once in a while.”

“The honest people get voted out first,” Cole told Marco.

Marco glanced over at Emily who had her head buried in her hands. She looked up at Marco as he sarcastically said, “Thanks for doing the right thing.”

Mick looked at Marco and gave him a look as to let it slide and not bother any of the tribe mates, even though it clearly was bothering him.

In a confessional later that day, he said somewhat depressed, “Trinity was such a sweet girl and I’m so sad that she was voted out so soon. I had plans to get to the Final Two with her, and because of this alliance and because Emily is so naïve, she (Trinity) was voted out. This all just seems so frustrating.”

Lazy Momma
Meanwhile over at Matahari, the tribe members began to get up for work but one of them refused to help out much. This person was Harriet. She didn't refuse because she didn't want to, she refused because she really couldn't. “I'm really getting weak, and I'm getting extremely physically drained at this point. I still want to stay in the game, but I really need some nutrition or something before I keel over at Tribal Council.”

Others on the tribe, though, were getting fed up with how she wasn't helping. Cecely said, “Harriet isn't trying to help much. She just sits there, most of the time talking to Kyle. She's nice enough but she’s just not cutting it. If we were to go to Tribal Council, her name would be the one I jotted down on that piece of paper.

Ruben had similar thoughts about Harriet. “Harriet is a sweet gal, but she’s just so boring to talk to and she’s not bothering to make an effort to talk. She’s just, well, sitting there doing nothing. I really think she needs to start helping out because useful people from this tribe and the other tribe are getting booted and she’s still around.”
