British No. 2 Mk.1* The No.2 Mk.1 had it's hammer-comb ground off to produce the No.2 Mk.1*. This allowed only double-action firing. Originally the modification was to improve safety in tanks, but it was then ordered for all No.2 Mk.1 pistols. The Enfield's .38 caliber ammunition made it easier to manage than the .455 caliber of it's predecessor. |
