G’Kar’s investigation leads him to a close call with death at the hands of Shadow fighters. He then arranges for the Narn military to investigate the world of Z’Ha’Dum. Franklin and Sheridan use the alien healing device (cf. The Quality of Mercy) to bring Garibaldi out of his coma. With Talia’s help he identifies who shot him. Delenn emerges from the Chrysalis. |
| 25 | The Geometry of Shadows | Ivanova, just promoted to full commander, is assigned to mediate a dispute among the Drazi on B5. A group of technomages makes a stop on the station. Refa visits Londo with the news that he is being lauded in the Senate for his swift and thorough reaction to the Narn problem. |
| 26 | A Distant Star | The EA ship Cortez, commanded by Captain Jack Maynard, has an accident in hyperspace and must be rescued. Keffer encounters a Shadow vessel. Garibaldi, Sheridan, and Ivanova are put on a “food plan,” yet Garibaldi still manages his annual birthday meal of bagna cauda. Keffer receives an unexpected promotion. The station’s Minbari population is concerned about Delenn’s change. |
| 27 | The Long Dark | The U.S.S. Copernicus, an ancient sleeper ship, drifts by B5 broadcasting an automated distress message. Crews pull it on board the station and find one lifesign, but two cryogenic freezing pods. A lurker, Amis, fears he is being stalked by an invisible foe. |
| 28 | A Spider in the Web | Talia’s friend Taro Ishogi is murdered while trying to engineer a peaceful solution to the problem of Mars independence. A former Mars freedom fighter is smuggled onto the station and receives instructions from “Control.” Sheridan tells Garibaldi of his suspicions about the mysterious Bureau 13. |

| 30 | A Race Through Dark Places | Bester is sent to investigate an underground railroad of unregistered telepaths that seems to be running straight through Babylon 5. Talia must decide if she will remain loyal to the Psi Corps. |

| 33 | All Alone in the Night | Sheridan takes a Starfury out to investigate some mysterious happenings. He is kidnapped and tortured by the Streibs, then escapes with Ta’Lon, a Narn. Meanwhile, General Hague arrives to meet with Sheridan and gives him some disturbing info. Delenn is removed from the Gray Council, but allowed to retain her post as Ambassador on Babylon 5. |
| 34 | Acts of Sacrifice | Ivanova must entice the Lumati to become an ally of the Earth Alliance, then must seal the agreement by having sex with the Lumati ambassador. G’Kar is injured in a fight for authority among the Narn. |
| 35 | Hunter, Prey | President Santiago’s personal physician is on the run through B5. He has information which implicates Clark in Santiago’s assassination. Garibaldi and Franklin go undercover in downbelow to find the physician. Sheridan has a couple of interesting encounters with Kosh. |
| 36 | There All the Honor Lies | When Sheridan is accused of the murder of a Minbari on the station, Kosh urges him to take a moment to experience some beauty in downbelow. Lennier puts his honor on the line. Earth wants to hock “Official B5 Merchandise” on the Zocalo. The Ba-bear-lon 5 teddy bear pushes Sheridan over the top. Londo is outraged and insulted that his action figure is missing certain “attributes.” |
| 37 | And Now for a Word | The ISN show “36 Hours” features B5, and the reporter, Cynthia Torquemann, arrives just as Narn refugees flood the station. |
| 38 | In the Shadow of Z’Ha’Dum | Sheridan and Garibaldi discover that Morden was a passenger on the final voyage of the Icarus, the ship to which Anna Sheridan was assigned. Kosh and Delenn tell Sheridan about the First Ones, and the ancient darkness gathering on Z’Ha’Dum. |
| 39 | Knives | An old friend of Londo’s arrives with troubling news. Londo asks Refa for help, but is denied. Sheridan is “possessed” by a creature who has to get back to Sector 14. |

| 41 | Divided Loyalties | Former B5 telepath Lyta Alexander arrives to ferret out a traitor in the B5 crew. Ivanova reveals a secret which she has kept for years. |
| 42 | The Long, Twilight Struggle | Sheridan and Delenn are visited by Draal, who invites them to Epsilon 3. Meanwhile, the Centauri bring their war with the Narn to a terrible end. G’Kar requests sanctuary on B5. |
| 43 | Comes the Inquisitor | The Vorlon Empire sends an Inquisitor to test Delenn’s worthiness in fighting the coming darkness. Garibaldi passes information to G’Kar which will help him ship weapons to the Narn resistance. |
| 44 | The Fall of Night | The Centauri begin invading smaller worlds, like those of the Pak’Ma’Ra and Drazi, while the remaining Narn heavy fighter asks for sanctuary at B5. Earth’s Ministry of Peace wants to make an alliance—with the Centauri. Kosh lifts his skirts and shows us what’s inside. |
