When I woke up that morning I was a little disoriented as to where I was. It took me a few minutes to realize that today was the last day of my freshman year in college. I jumped out of bed remembering the fabulous news I had recieved the week earlier. I had gotten a job on the Backstreet Boy's summer tour. Not that hadn't worked my butt off to get it! For the past three months not only had I looked all over the internet for the BSB's Manager's address, but I had prepared a resume, called their managers, Johnny and Donna Wright, and basically begged for any position they had in order to gain experience for my major. See, I am a music business major which basically teaches about a music artists life, and how albums are made, promoted, and marketed. Throughout the year I had volunteered for everything under the sun gaining a lot of backstage work experience at concerts, festivals, and award functions.
Anyway, I jumped out of bed and quickly got ready, dressing in some baggy, black jeans, a Tommy Girl mini-T, and some black Mary-Janes. I was basically ready to move out of the dorm and onto one of their tour buses. I was flying out that day at noon to meet the tour in Florida. (By-the-way, my name is Nicole and I have green eyes and long curly, brown hair.)
My friend Erin picked me up a few minutes later and took me to the airport. And just a few hours later and I was on my way to meet the BSB's managment!
