Daniela breathed a sigh of relief, and then inhaled another breath and held it, trying to calm her self. She couldn't believe she was in the same room as Isaac and Taylor Hanson. She would have never imagined in her wildest dreams that she would be here, now. She exhaled as Isaac reached for her hand.
"Hi Daniela, I'm Isaac Hanson."
"Hi Isaac, I'm Daniela Vanders." She reached for his hand and shook it gently, stairing at Isaac's face. He let go of her hand to pull a chair over to join the two already seated.
He sat himself next to Daniela, so she was between the two boys, but in a triangle.
"So where's your baby?" Isaac asked.
"Skyla's over there." Daniela pointed to the set. "She's the one that's not Ezra." She laughed. Isaac turned around and looked for Skyla.
"She's really cute. Like her mom." He turned around again to face Daniela. Daniela blushed and smiled.
"I told you." Taylor said, with a soft smack on Isaac's shoulder.
"So tell me a little about you. I'm sure you already know all about us from visiting here with Tay."
"Actually, she's a fan. Or, was a fan. Back in the day." Taylor informed him.
"I still am, I just don't hardly know any of your new stuff from 'Underneath'. 'Penny and Me,' but I don't know they lyrics. That's about it."
"Hey, at least you know the name of the album." Isaac laughed. "That's cool though."
"But I'm from a little town outside of Vegas, called Paradise. I was born there, but then my parents and I moved to Golden Valley in Minnesota, and I moved from there to here when I was nineteen. I don't have any brothers or sisters, and I had a Peakaneese named Hershey, because he was the color of chocolate."
"That's cute." Taylor and Isaac said together.
"I think that's the most important stuff. The stuff most guys ask me, I am single, I am a model, my baby's a model, I'm almost 22, I don't really party anymore, and yes I have my own place in Greenwich Village."
"But would you like to go out with me tonight." Isaac asked.
Daniela looked at him. "I would love to."
"Great. When this is done then?"
"Sure."
"How much longer is that going to be?" Taylor looked at his watch. It was a quarter to five.
"Probably another hour or so, if they're on time." Daniela informed them. "And if you'll excuse me for a minute, I have to go explore my daughter's dressing room." She didn't want to tell them that she had to go to the bathroom, that sounded too stupid. She got up, grabbed her purse, and crossed the studio, and disappeared into the curtained darkness.
"So what do you think of her?" Taylor asked his older brother.
"I think she's hot. It's not so bad that she already has a kid. She's cute, and she doesn't seem to be a pain in the butt, crying all the time and stuff."
"You like her then?"
"Yeah. And she's got her own place."
"That's a plus. So what are you planning on doing with her tonight?"
"I don't know yet. Have any suggestions?
"Well, if it wasn't your first date, I'd say we could double, but I think you two need to get to know eachother first. Maybe next time. But it's pretty nice out, but I don't think I'd go walk in the park yet. Maybe take her to a nice restaurant, and then a cartoon movie or something. I heard 'Home On The Range' is a good movie. Natalie and I are going to take Ezra to go see it."
"That's a good suggestion. A nice restaurant, to show I'm sophisticated, and we can still have a life, and then a kids movie, to show I like kids and can get a long with them and do stuff they like too. I think that would make a good impression."
"Or you know, I bet she hasn't gotten any in a while, considering she's got a kid and no man, Natalie and I can babysit Skyla for you tonight, and just you two can go out to dinner, and a grown up movie, then go back to someone's house, and get a little crazy, if you know what I mean."
"You know Tay, that's even a better suggestion. Or, we could just go straight to someone's place, order in, and not even worry about going out in public or anything, just "get crazy" right away."
"That's a good idea too. You should run both of them past her when she gets back. Maybe she hasn't gone out alone on a date in a while either. Maybe she orders in a lot by herself."
"That's true too. Here she comes anyway." They watched her walk towards them, watching her soft brown curly hair flowing, her arms swinging gently, her hips swaying, doing that little model walk perfectly. Daniela smiled at them, laughing at them silently because their jaws were on the floor and drool was practically dripping from their mouths. She scored a point for her. Taylor cought another whiff of her perfume as she set her purse down on the floor next to her chair and sat slowly. They watched, not caring what they looked like.
"I'm back now." Daniela said, breaking their trances. "Did you miss me?"
"Of course." Isaac said.
"We were just trying to come up with some ideas for you guys to do tonight on your date." Taylor said, trying to revive the dead conversation. "I figured if you guys go out again, we can double, but the first date should be just you two."
"That's so thoughtful Taylor." Daniela said with a smile and a tilt of her head. She turned to Isaac as he started to speak. Taylor couldn't stop stairing at her amber eyes and full red lips.
"We were thinking that Natalie and Taylor could babysit Skyla for the night." Isaac suggested, hoping she'd like this idea. It was his favorite, after all. Daniela looked back at Taylor.
"Taylor, you are just a thoughtful guy today, aren't you." She smiled. "That's a great idea. I haven't been out without Skyla for a long time. And she'd be with a friend. Are you sure Natalie won't mind? I mean, it is one of your rare nights off, together."
"No, I know she won't mind. It'll be like a favor. And then when we need a sitter, and so on."
"They will have lots of other oppertunities, him and Natalie. Besides. She comes everywhere with us." Isaac injected, trying to get Taylor's attention not so stuck on Daniela. "And I didn't know if you'd rather order in or go out. It doesn't matter any to me." As long as he could get some action from her. "Tay, why don't you call Natalie right now and ask her before we go any further with the plans." He smiled at Taylor, who was giving him an evil look.
"Yeah, that sounds good." Daniela chimed in, waiting for him to whip out his cell phone again as fast as he did to talk to Isaac earlier.
"Okay, all right." He finally did as requested. Isaac smiled at Daniela. She smiled back. She couldn't believe how much he had changed from all the posters she had had up on her walls. His black dress pants, black sport coat, and a grey button down shirt. She had read in the few articles that he style was more sophisticated now, and that he liked to be dressed up, and look like he was going somewhere important all the time. So much for the jeans and tee shirts, huh? She wondered what he wore to bed. With that thought, the right corner of her mouth turned up in a small half smile. Isaac saw this, and wondered what she was thinking. He hoped it was the same as him, but with his luck, probably not. He just staired into her eyes, not being able to wait to stair into her eyes while they were, well, you know. Taylor ended his call with his wife, and cleared his throat, wanting to break their gazes.
"She said it was okay that we watch Skyla tonight, and I'll just take her with me when we leave here. She has enough stuff to last her for a while?"
"Yeah. No problem. Hey Taylor, I really appreciate you doing this for me. Us." She reached for his hand and held it gently for a moment. His expression melted into a smile. "Any time." Daniela started to take her hand away, but Taylor gripped harder.
"Taylor." Isaac called. "TAYlor." He repeated. "TAYLOR!" He practically shouted. Taylor jumped, releasing Daniela's hand. "The director is calling you." He finished with a wicked smile. Taylor looked at the two with a shocked face, then as he began to blush, he quickly went to see what the director wanted. As soon as Taylor had his back towards Isaac and Daniela, Isaac took Danielas hands in his, and looked into her eyes again. "So do you want to go out or order in?"
"I haven't been out in a while, like I said earlier, but if you really want to order in, we can."
"I want this to be special for you. We can go out."
"It already is special. I'm going out with you. Without Skyla. Thank you for taking me out in advance. I don't get out a lot with Skyla and all."
"I understand completely. It's not a big deal. I'm glad I can do this with you."
"Thank you so much." She got up, leaned over, and gave Isaac a kiss on the cheek just as Taylor turned around to return to his chair. He stopped dead in his tracks. A wave of jealousy washed over him. He felt his temperature rise. He turned and stormed off to Ezra's dressing room. Isaac saw Taylor storm off.
"Daniela, I have to go talk to Taylor. He seems upset about something."
"Okay. Take your time." She smiled up at him. He smiled back down at her, and caressed her face gently. He took off after Taylor. Daniela turned around to watch the remaining scene of the commercial being shot as she waited. She hoped Taylor would be okay.
