Chapter Two

" 'Is this reall woth killing yourself over?' I asked my reflection after I had returned home three hours later. I shrugged, then opened the mirror which was also a medicine cabinet, to see what was in there, just in case I did want to kill myself. I rummaged through my grandma's pills- I couldn't bring myself to try slitting my wrist.
My grandma had had a storke not even a month ago, but she recovered enough to go home and have my mom watch her, and the hospital had sent home a variety of medicine. One bottle, a white with a bright orange lable particularly cought my attention. I read the lable, and recognized it from my mom talking about it. It was a special blood thinner for stroke patients, called Coumadin."
