Chapter Two

Six thirty in the morning, Whitney's alarm goes off. Rolling over and turning off the annoying beeping, she pulled herself out of the nice, warm, cozy blankets. After picking the outfit of the day, she made a beeline for the bathroom. She got ready for the day, said good bye to her dad, then started the fifteen minute treck to school. Seven forty five, class started.

At one forty five, the dismissal bell rang. Saying the usual see you tomorrow thing, she made her way out of the school, then went home. She slowly trudged through the world history, algebra and biology homework. She was lucky to finish before her dad came home. They had a quick dinner, then Whitney ran into her room to get her bag and change for class. It's my tripple shift tonight! I'm so excited!! Whitney thought. Her dad drove her the studio. She went in and got ready for class. Most of the students were her age in this class. The hour flew by as usual. This class was a competing class, so they learned a lot in the first hour. Afterwards, Whitney didn't even bother to change into her street shoes before going out to wait for Diana. She came two minutes later.
"Hi Whitney."
"Hi Mrs. Hanson."
"Diana. Please."
"Kay."
"The first hour, from seven to eight, will be Avery. From eight to nine will be Jessie."
"Fine."
"I'm letting you know now, that I have four other kids and one husband that will be running around. I'll try to keep them away, but the littlest, Mackie, may want to watch. He's only two. The other three kids are eleven, fourteen and sixteen. The eleven year old is Zac. The fourteen year old is Taylor, and the oldest is Isaac. You might want to watch out for those three."
"Why?"
"They can cause a lot of trouble, and, lets just say that they are three healthy boys and you're their kind of material."
"What?!"
"Well, with your tall, thin figure, long, ringlet curled honey-colored blond hair and sparkeling sky-blue eyes, they're gonna be trying to catch your attention. But remember what you're here for." Cought off guard, Whitney stumbled with her next sentence.
"I-I won't."
"We're here." Now Whitney was nervous. Why did she have to go say that? They got out of the van, and Diana escorted her to the front door. When she opened it, and no one was there. Suddenly, someone came running by. he looked at Whitney, froze, jaw dropped, then it snapped back into it's place. The kid looked behind him, and broke into a dead run down the hall. A door slammed, then another, bigger boy ran by, not even hesitating by them, and chased after the one who had just dashed by. "Tay! Ike! No running in the house!" Diana shouted after them. All she got in response was a muffled reply. "Anyway." Diana led Whitney to a little room that was set up like a studio. Mirrors across one wall, a sterio in a corner, the tile floor and everything. There was a single folding chair by the door. "This will be your room for dancing. You can set up and I'll go get Avery. Be right back."
