"Crazy Music Records."
"Hi. We have a scheduled appointment for one this afternoon, and we were wondering if it was possible to reschedule that appointment for maybe, noon?"
"Hold on. Let me check the schedule." Jasmine set the phone down on the desk and ran to find Lorraine.
"Lorraine! Lorraine!"
"In here Jasmine!" She finally found her.
"The people with the one o'clock appointment called, or is on hold. They want to know if they can move their appointment to noon today."
"Sure."
"Kay." Jasmine ran back to the phone. "Hi. It's okay if you come in at noon."
"Thanks so much."
"Sure."
"What's your name?"
"Jasmine."
"How old are you? Are you legal working age?"
"I'm fourteen. The person that really answeres the phone had to step away from her desk for a minute."
"Fine. Well, we'll see you at noon then."
"I'm sure you will. Good bye sir."
"Good bye Jasmine." Jasmine changed the appointment in the book to noon. She got up out of the chair and went to the couch opposite the desk. After five minutes of stairing at the ceiling, she ran to the elevator, went to her appartment and grabbed her headphones, then ran back downstairs to crash on the couch. Lorraine came back into the room with one of the boys from Molly and the Rockers. Jasmine swung her feet back on the floor so he could sit down while Lorraine made a phone call for him.
"Hi. I'm Isaiah."
"Hi Isaiah. I'm Jasmine."
"Are you a singer?"
"Me? Oh no. At least, not for professional use."
"Why are you here?"
"I just hang out here with Lorraine. I live upstairs."
"Oh. Cool. So you get to meet everybody that comes in and out here."
"Yeah. It's pretty cool to be able to sit here all day and meet all the bands."
"Can I tell you something?"
"Go ahead."
"You're the prettiest girl I've ever seen."
"Wow. Thanks, I think. You're a very up front person."
"I know. Sometimes it sucks having this problem. I mean, not being able to have full controll over what I say."
"Does that mean you can't lie?"
"No, but I'm not very good. You can tell if I'm lying or not. Try me."
"If you insist. Okay, ummm....Oh. Do you like being in a band?" She looked straight into his hazel eyes.
"Uh, no."
"I saw it. You did lie."
"I told you. I can't lie worth crap."
"That's okay. I was just noticing. You didn't die your hair unnatural colors like the rest of your band. Why not?"
"Because I like the color of my hair."
"So do I. I'm glad you didn't die it."
"Thanks. They think I should die it purple."
"Purple's a good color, but not for hair. It wouldn't match your eyes."
"You think so?"
"I know so. I'm a girl. And girls are supposed to know about color coordinating."
"Is your dad Mr. Anderson?"
"No. I just live upstairs. My dad's an actor."
"Your mom?"
"Well, last time I checked, she was a professional dancer."
"Last time you checked?"
"She lives in Europe."
"Do you miss her?"
"No. I don't know her. She left my brother and I with my dad as soon as we were born. My brother and I are identical twins."
"Oh. Cool. I mean, being twins."
"Yeah. It is. We've been through everything togeather. We rely on eachother more than anyone else."
"Isaiah! Get your skinny butt back in here!" Molly yelled.
"I have to go. I'll be back in a while."
"I'll stay then."
"Do that." He got up and dissappeared into the recording studio. Jasmine spread out on the couch again and closed her eyes and listened to the radio on her headphones.
