Chapter Five
"Hi!" Jasmine called to them.
"She's alive." One of the girls replied with a snotty attitude.
"Duh." Jas threw back.
"And has an attitude too." Another one replied.
"Shut up. Your name shouldn't be La Chanson, it should be La Chiennes."
"She knows french." They whispered to eachother.
"I'm not as dumb as you look." A crack of hysterical laughter came from the studio room. Jas looked over in that direction and saw the boys grinning. The French girls spun around and glaired at the boys. They ducked behind the door and continued laughing.
"We're leaving, and never coming back. We don't deserve to be treated like this." The head girl told Lorraine. They glaired at Jas for a final time, then stomped out of the studio.
"Jasmine!" Lorraine scolded.
"They started it! 'She's alive!'" Jas mocked.
"Are you guys with them?" Jas asked the four other peole, pointing in the direction of the studio.
"Yes. We're the rest of their family. I'm their mom Diana, this is their dad Walker, and that's Mackie, Jessica and Avery." She nodded to each one.
"Hey guys."
"Hi!" They replied.
"Have any of you had lunce yet?"
"No." Walker shook his head.
"Do you want to go upstairs to my place and feed the kids?" Mackie, Jessica and Avery looked at their parents, hopefully whishing they could get some food.
"I suppose. But what about the boys?"
"Lorraine can send them up. We're the only appartment on the third floor. Can't you Lorraine."
"Sure Jas. I'll send them up."
"Thanks. This way." They got up and piled into the elevator.
