Happy Endings

"Grandma. Grandma?"
"Yes Angelique?"
"New towels are needed in the Rose room and the Blue room. I can't find any clean ones and the people are whining for extra towels."
"Give them the ones in the closet in my room."
"Yes, grandma." I went through the kitchen and into her room, in search of the towles. I found them and headed back to the two rooms. My grandma ran a little hotel type getaway place in her old mansion. It was huge. All the rooms had different names except our. All our rooms were on the first of four floors, well, four including the basement. Ours were on the main level. Each room was named after the way it was decorated. If my room had a name, it would be called the Hanson room. I had my walls covered with pictures. They used to be filled with Jonathan Taylor Thomas, but after he got a girlfriend, I didn't like him anymore. We lived in upstate Washington, almost in Canada. We were a few hours drive from Seattle.
"Angelique! Earth to Angelique." I blinked, and realized who was in front of me, blocking my path.
"Hi Kaitlin." My older sister.
"Where are you going with those towels?" We were both stuck here working for our grandma.
"Ummm... Oh yeah. The Rose room and Blue room."
"Okay. You just looked a little spaced there for a minute."
"Sorry."
"It's okay. Just don't forget about the towels."
"Kay." We continued our seperate directions. We were in this togeather. We had no choice. I dropped off the towels and went to clean the Green room. 'I wonder what my parents are doing in France now.' I mused to myself. Our parents lived in France. Paris, to be exact. Being here has only one upside- we get to meet interesting people. Well, my sister does, anyway. The big actors , actresses and musicians often drop by to relax- not to mention the newlyweds on their honeymoons. Now that gets gross.
I began cleaning the room. We were now fourteen and sixteen. Kaitlin was the pretty one, I thought. She had long brown wavy hair and brilliant green eyes. She was tall and thin, mostly inheriting our fathers' looks. Tall, dark and handsome. At least, that's what our grandma told us. I, on the other hand, was a total opposite from Kaitlin. I had gotten my mom's looks. My long, huge golden curls were tied back in a torn up red scarf. I sported the 'Cinderella' look, except replace the dress with worn jeans and a stained tee-shirt. My eyes were the color of the sky. Standing next to eachother, nobody could tell we were sisters. Even our own grandma had a hard time accepting the fact that we came from the same two people. That's a disturbing thought if you think about it. I was small and thin too, probably form working twenty-four hours, seven days a week. I concentrated on making the bed when I heard my grandma coming up the stairs a few feet away. She was talking to someone, but they wern't answering. 'Maybe she's talking to herself.' I thought.
"This will be your room. It's called the Green room." She went into a long speech about the room. I quickly finished tucking in the blankets as the doorknob turned. The door opened and I was met by three boys and my grandma. I immediately looked at the floor and quickly exited the room.
"Don't mind her. She's just my grand daughter." I heard her say. I took the path to my room going around the foyer- or lobby, as my grandma wanted to call it. I slammed the door behind me and slid to the floor. I could have sworn that was just Zachary,Taylor and Isaac Hanson. It couldn't have been. They'd never come here. I must have mistaken someone else for them. I probably was dreaming. There was one thing I could do to see if it actually was them. I could look at the reservation books. Kaitlin and I aren't allowed to look at them, but I had to find out if I was crazy or not.
