Chapter Nine
"Wow. Did you see that Ike?" Tay asked.
"Yeah."
"She's coming over here tomorrow. Tomorrow! Do you know what time tomorrow?"
"No." Ike replied.
"Boys, stop stairing at Love and go talk to her." They both snapped away from the window. "Besides. It's time to go out to paintball anyway. When we come back we'll have cake and presents. Kay?" Diana coaxed.
"Kay!" The ran to the front door and put on their shoes, then dashed to the car.

When I was done unpacking, I ran downstairs.
"Mom! Dad! I'm done!" I yelled.
"Good. Now we can go to dinner, and when we get back we can unpack the rest of the house." My mom said.
"Oh goody." I sighed sarcastically. We wentto a restaurant that served Mexican food. Back at home, we turned on the radio station I had found earlier and that afternoon, and blasted it. My mom and dad shared the same taste in music I did. I sang along with the songs I knew while putting things away. finally about ten o'clock, we were moved in fully. I took the boxes out to our garbage at the end of our driveway. On the way back, I stole a glance over at the house I was supposed to sit at tomorrow. All the lights were on, and the huge family was gathered around one blond kid who was grinning from ear to ear with cake with candles on it. I went inside and agreed with my parents that it was time to go bed.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Taylor, happy birthday to you! Yea!!!" Everybody sang.
"Blow out your candles and make a wish Tay." Diana told her son. He studied the candles, the cake, his family, then glanced quickly over at the new neighbor's house. He looked back at the cake, closed his eyes and blew out the candles.
"Presents!" Zac yelled and ran out of the room, to bring back a huge present. "Open open open!" Zac shouted. Tay ripped open the wrapping paper.
"New rollerblades! Cool! Thanks guys!"
"You're welcome." Tay opened a couple more presents. When all the presents were open and Zac and Tay had had a wrapping paper fight, Diana told the kids to go to bed.
"We have a busy day tomorrow."
"What time is Love coming over tomorrow? I want to see her again." Jessie said. Tay, Ike and Zac listened closely.
"Seven in the morning."
"Oh. That early, huh?"
"Yeah."
"Who's she watching?"
"Zoe."
"Where are we going?"
"You, Avie, and Mack. We're going downtown."
"To do what?"
"Shopping."
"Fun!"
"Uh-huh. Lets go to bed."
"Okay."
