Chapter Three

"Zac-" She protested.
"What?" She held him off.
"I don't have any protection. Do you?"
"No, but nothing will happen." Marilynn looked around for Taylor, but he was nowhere to be seen.
"If you say so Zac." He nodded in reasurance.

After fifteen minutes...

"Zac! Marilynn!" Taylor called from the side of the stage. They both looked at him sharply, surprised. "Your mom's here Marilynn." He called, then disappeared in the curtains. They looked at eachother.
"I guess this is it." Marilynn said quietly.
"Yeah." Zac helped Marilynn get up.
"Show me out? I'd get lost."
"Sure." He smiled, glad he could help out. They passed Taylor on the way.
"Bye Marilynn." Taylor gave her a hug.
"Bye Taylor. Say hi to Isaac for me."
"Will do." He waved as Zac showed her out. Zac stopped at the door, gave her a hug, and they said good bye.
