Chapter Four

"Trey! I didn't think you'd make it! Did you see us? How did you get out of practice? You have a big game you have to start in tomorrow."
"Hi Maddy. I got out of practice early because I said I had to visite my cousin in the hospital. You were great. Hi girls." He wiggled his fingers at them behind my back.
"Hi Trey." They all replied. He smiled.
"Lets go Maddy." He slipped his hand in mine and we turned to go back to the bleachers. I turned around and looked at the football players. They suddenly looked away.
"See you later guys. I'll call you later Sam."
"Bye." The group said. Trey and I walked back to the bleachers and sat on the top bench in the farthest corner, away from everybody else.
"You look really nice Maddy."
"I'm still in the dorky school costume."
"You still look pretty."
"Well, thanks. So you were able to get out of practice early huh?"
"Yeah. It wasn't easy though. Coach was pretty mad. With me being his all-star player and all." He boasted.
"That's because you're in such high demand with everybody."
"Everybody?"
"Yeah. I mean, come on. You know every girl in the school has the hots for you."
"Even you?"
"Well, obviously." I kissed him on his cheek. "You just saw all the girls on the line practically fall over themselves just to say hi to you."
"I suppose." We laughed. The football players were back on the field to finish the last quarter. Trey absently layed a hand on my thigh at the conviently placed end of my skirt. My mind wandered to what it would be like with Trey. I looked at him. He really was really cute. he had a nice tan from soccer practice. Brown hair in a bowl cut, a little longer in the back. Deep brown eyes. his height had to be about five seven or eight. He noticed me looking at him and smiled.
"Trey, my butt hurts from sitting on these hard benches." He gave me the typical male response.
"We can't leave yet, there's about ten minutes left of the game, and the score's tied. Sit on my lap then."
"Okay." I slid onto his lap, wrapped my arms around his waist and layed my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me.
"Isn't it too hot to sit like that? Then again, Maddy's not wearing much." Trey's friend Aaron came up and sat next to Trey.
"The only heat we have to worry about is the heat between us." He kissed the back of my head. Aaron put a hand on my knee.
"Hey dide. Hands off my girl." Trey brushed Aaron's hand off my leg. I just sat there, ignoring the fighting boys. The reff blew his wistle. I jumped off Trey's lap and did a little victory dance.
"We won! We won!" I chanted.
"Lets go Maddy." He stood up, took my hand and led me down the bleacher steps.
"Bye Aaron!" I waved behind me, but Trey picked up speed. "Bye Sam!" I called as we flew past her.
"Wait here by the gate. I'll go get the car."
"Fine by me." Oh. Did I forget to mention he's sixteen and drives a convertable?
